Background
In pursuit for excellent standards required for electricians there is a need to get personnel who are well-skilled in this field. Currently the statistics show that South Africa has 86.5% of the population who uses electricity. There is a need to have the skill set to ensure that electrical pains e.g. load-shedding and fatalities are a thing of the past. We need to be able to use other robust technologies to have high standards and bring up the grid because of the knowledge shared amongst electrical experts.
In the year 2023 in August, Eskom reported 17 deaths and 147 injuries due to illegal connections which show that there is a need to train and also educate in this space. Electricity forms part of our daily lives and learning how to handle it is of paramount importance. Learning how to use it must be someone who is well equipped to do it and must be done in a very professional and efficient manner.
Electricity is friendly but could be hostile if abused or used in the way that violates its way of usage.
Dr Gesi Outline
Dr. Gesi is an accredited private company situated at eSikhawini in the KwaZulu Natal province under King Cetshwayo District and uMhlathuze Local Municipality. It was founded in 2017 by Siyabonga Sikhakhane who is the Director from Esikhawini in the KwaZulu-Natal province. The company render services that have an electrical background on all spheres, counting in installations, air-conditioner installations and repiars, escalator motor repairs, lifts, we take up projects such as domestic wiring. industrial motors and overhead cranes which is a requirement for their training etc.
The business has grown from being a one-man handler to five permanent staff. three of which graduated from Umfolozi College proving to provide the best safe services and installations. It has grown to providing services in the commercial sector. It is a registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and compliant company with registration number 2017/341076/07. Our offices are at Mzingwenya Reserve, Esikhawini.
